Torres just got MOTM against Stoke, a team who he has scored 1 in 5 (now 6) against. Give the lad some credit where it's due, he may not have scored but he played a blinder compared to what he did for us last season.

If our defence is "fumbling" after conceeding 1 goal in 1 game (a great finish by the way) then surely your forward line is "fumbling" for have a scoring record of 0 goals in 1 game? Torres was brilliant? He didn't do what he's paid for, an that in turn cost you 2 points. And saying he had a blinder compared to what he did last year is ridiculous. Judge him against everyone elses performance not just his poor standards he set himself last year!
He's done nothing in 3 years so The Drogs Ballacks comment is nonsense. Andy Carroll had a **** year last year and was injured for most of it and still scored more than the old man Fernando.
Chelsea looked very predictable today. I know we had a bad second half but our first half performance is the best ive seen from any team so far, by a country mile to be honest.
