Back on topic - yes Fernandez looks a great signing but I suspect he won't be fit for a while even if we get him.

How old is Ash now? Possibly his last season as a number 1 CB, with Bartley and Amat fighting to play alongside Fernandez in the future?
I've always really had time for Amat, I think he promises to be quite cultured. No crap with him too, seems an honest pro!! Obviously didn't run with some of the other Espanioles. Run of games alongside Ash, to get full confidence & match fitness & we'll have good cover/competition when Fernandez comes in. Bartley's certainly down the pecking order to me..
