The shares seem to be worth very little, and they come with the responsibility of keeping the club afloat (shareholders put millions into the club with little return). Perhaps Tony can no longer afford to pay his share of keeping the club afloat.

But I just keep saying be careful what we wish for. ( E.g. what if the board just decided, we will sell the ground, the team can share with Brentford, whilst we sort out another ground...somewhere west of Hounslow. Or maybe even Warren Farm!)

Why would Brentford want to share with us?

Wow. This was a bit of a surprise. I'm not a fan. Yes, of course he funded us and certain things were possible under him. But he just could not get a lot of things right, year after year. Even simple things like a decent kits. Felt like we didn't have our club at times.

When Redknapp was in charge, don't know how we got promoted. We didn't play much good football all season, bar a couple of games. Were full of journeymen.

And he sacked Warnock!

We fans are a peculiar bunch at times. Hounded Ferdinand into resigning for various reasons with not many having a good word about his tenure. Big Tony on the other hand, a pat on the back, nice guy etc yet has taken this club to the brink of league 1 with his absolute kamikaze approach to running a football club.

In all fairness, he's been hands off for five years, so the state we're in now is on Rubens and Amits watch as much as his. Whole bunch of amateurs

Fernandes was very naive when he took over & brought wrong managers in & spent money for the sake of it in trying impress fans, total disaster, should’ve kept Warnock in charge, as a bloke he was genuine & thought he tried to please fans, good luck to what ever he does

I'd like to thank TF for some good memories.
1. QPR 3:Liverpool 2
2. Loic Remy and that goal.
3. Wembley and OBZ Day.
4. Showing some passion.
5. Beating Arsenal 1:0 (was that before TF??)
6. Beating Chelsea 1:0 despite their 9 men outplaying our 11!!
7. Man City 3: QPR 2. The ecstasy for 90 or so minutes!!!!
8. Adel Taraabt.

There's probably more. Sadly, the financial cost per good memory is rather high but still some great moments so thanks for those TF.

Was that all his fault though Bob? Bit like your present employer they blame literally everyone

Haven't commented on his departure, as I've never felt more lacklustre about an upcoming season as I do this one. Sure he gave us dome good tines and I appreciate and cherish them, but he was also pig ignorant about football and how to achieve top flight sustainability without going millions into debt. Alas we failed even after this approach, with wrong managerial appointments and terrible signings of past it twats. He did have passion, and eventually I think his heart was in the right place. So cheers for most of it, but hopefully someone steps up who is of better judgement and even more so of deeper pockets !

Don't know how many of those I'd attribute to Tony ! Personally. No 1- down to Mackie, 2-down to Loic, 3-down to Bob and Rob, 4-ill give you that one, 5-down to Adel, 6-down to hatred from us, 7-down to Bolton not winning and 8- down to Warnock !
