Anyone that remembers the games leading up to Warnock going, particularly MK Dons away, the most undeserved result I ever recall of a QPR side, will be of the opinion we were sinking like a stone.
No, the fact that we got those home wins when we weren't expected to and the fact that we led at Man City knocked the stuffing out of Blackburn and Bolton. The effect was demoralising on them.
Really? With this group of players I'm a hundred times more optimistic than I was after that MK Dons game. Hughes got it badly wrong last night but he got it spot on at Spurs and at home to Chelsea so all is not lost with 32 to play.
If Stoke had lost is hypothetical. The facts are, they stopped Bolton winning and we survived. If me auntie had balls and all that....................
If Bolton couldn't beat Stoke, they didn't deserve to survive. We beat the Stoke the previous week and we survived. My point is, we deserved to survive. Bolton didn't. We made our own luck. We didnt rely on others. Good teams get lucky. Bad teams are unlucky. The upshot is, we stayed up. Bolton went down.
Yep....all good players and a good squad. Hughes can't pick them in the correct formation though!! If he carries on with his stubborn selections, we will go down with one of the strongest relegated squads ever!!
Rather than berate the fans TF should focus his energy on sorting out MH. Understand that he has complete faith in the guy but if he's running this like a business, non-performance would be a big issue that needs addressing. He needs to pile on the pressure because the way I see it, MH can do whatever he likes. I'm not calling for either of them to go btw.
Good grief Col you need help Have you not read the best thread on here yet? Immediatitis sums it all up for me.
What about the fact that Hughes has lost four of his preferred full backs fabio, boswinga, traore, and even dyer. Give the man a chance. Too much knee jerk on here.
Happy with the way things are Dave? I'm not saying Hughes should go, I'm saying he needs to get his act together, and quick!!
If he had started with the team and formation he finally stumbled on after an hour of the game, the defensive problems would have been lessened.
Look lay off again lads Think of Spurs and Arsenal a couple of seasons ago...Sunderland last season. We have a good squad, we have devastating injuries (but an international break coming up...thank god) And we have time Keep the faith
Yep, quite possibly but doubt it would have changed the first goal. Hill is not a left back and he's a slow 'not a left back' with it. Doubt Traore or Fabio would have been skinned in the same way. I'm not happy with the result or the start as a whole but I've seen enough that I'm far from concerned for the season as a whole unlike some of the mass hysteria on here. It was only recently we had the playing like kings thread!
Clueless = Not starting Hoillett,Tarbs,...and Dyer?. Dint here anything about him being injured and he was our best player a few games back...and a frigging FB!
