I would just like to ask TF, from a clueless fan how much he has learned from football in the short time he has been here I would of expected him to know more about cricket, F1 and hockey myself
So Stoke did us a big favour on the last day to save us? The fact that we won our last 5 home games on the trot against Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham, Stoke and Swansea had nothing to do with our survival? Those results put our relegation rivals under such stress that they couldn't match our results. I am not necessarlly a big Hughes fan. My opinion on him is not set in stone as I have already stated that if we don't improve before the end of October then my opinion on him may change. One thing that I am sure of however is, we would NOT have survived without him last year. For that alone, he deserves at least 10 games this year before we wield the axe.
TF has plenty of experience running multi million pound companies which is what QPR is. You and I as mere fans have not.
I don't need to use a crystal ball. The actual results he achieved ensured we survived when all and sundry thought we were doomed.
Are you sure we would have been relegated if Warnock had stayed in charge or do you mean we would have been relegated if were were managerless?
Pre-cisely Fingy. Uncle Tone's right about some fans being clueless though. Me for one. I'm totally clueless about how we're going to keep the dream, that starts with Fernandes Mittal, alive on results like we're getting. I'm clueless about how we're going to restore confidence and achieve the necessary winning streak. I'm clueless alright - but at the same time fascinated, desperately so, how those in the cockpit propose to pull us out of the nosedive we're in. Like others, I'm also losing confidence and just a tad terrified atm. If that means I'm fickle so be it. It also means I care. Fed up with seeing our image / reputation as the oddballs of the prem increase with every game. Yep. Guilty as charged. Totally clueless me.
Do you think he'd have dropped Cisse, and worked out the personnel/system that got the results, without his 5 game ban?
Ah but Brix you do know that stability is over-rated right? It has and always will be a rollercoaster being a rangers fan. Embrace the madness, DT(1)&(2) have
Yes, I believe we would have been relegated if Warnock stayed in charge. Absolutely. I am not too sure what you mean by managerless? Do you mean if we sacked Warnock and hadn't appointed a successor for the remainder of the season? If so, well then yes, I believe in that scenario we would have been relegated too. If you mean something else, please let me know. They are just my opinions though
Get it right finglas. You are the one who is sure we would we would not have survived without Hughes last year which by implication means you are sure we would have been relegated under Warnock.
Quite correct but it all hung on another game that was out of our hands and that comes down to luck and not managerial skills! Name a positive or two we have seen under Hughes!
