It wasn't POSH fans lauding him as a future England player, it was the club management doing this so they could up the sale price. Most POSH fans will tell you he is a liability and has cost us untold points

How... true. :) There were plenty of midweek errors too, if you want me to give you a run-down. Already mentioned the Barnsley game.

I never denied we have a poor defence. All I said was that Kasper was poor too. That's not something you have any right to judge, and it wasn't really publicized either way.

Must have just been complacency then. <ok> Dropping balls and failing to collect corners doesn't really shout 'charismatic', 'well-grounded' and 'genuinely confident' to me... and what the **** do interviews matter? <laugh> Anyone can talk a good game if they try hard enough. Means nothing.

Sung only a few times all season. "He saves to the left..." was a more common one. Both of them are pro-Kasper Schmeichel chants and if he can't take a bit of banter about his dad being scum, he doesn't deserve a place at our club. He never deserved one anyway to be honest.

PAUL RACHUBKA MAKES KASPER LOOK ****E, as we sung at the 'King Power' Stadium. <ok>:D

I'd say it was well publicised that Kasper was a more than competent keeper for this division. Leeds' defence was scrutinized as being up there with the worst in the league (as was ours).

You can notice confidence in an interview, saying you can't is just being silly.

What i find funny is Leeds sold Kasper as his contract was running down and he didnt want to sign a new one although he was never offered one. Ken Bates being Ken Bates then said we can get better anyway and since then the Leeds fans opinions have changed from Kasper being quality to a walking disaster

Kasper has a quality GK coach here, that must be what the difference is.

Lets hope the p'boro away crowd get on Lewis' back early so the pressure will start sinking in sooner.

I don't care about what was publicized. I saw with my own eyes the errors that he made and no journo who watched one or two Leeds games a season can make assertions that Kasper was good for us all season. If you really want, I can try dig out the clips of some of the errors he made if it would make you more comfortable. No doubt you'd say they were all the defence's fault anyway, but hey ho.

Whatever, there's no point arguing about that. Just seems a very inane point to make about his on-pitch ability when even Paul Rachubka looks confident in front of a camera.

You don't remember his Twitter rant about how much he wanted to stay at Leeds then? Where's the proof that he didn't want to stay with us please?

That's a very good point, and one I mentioned a few times when he signed for you. Andy Beesley at Leeds has a very poor record of keeping goalkeepers on form. Nonetheless, some of the blame has to go to the player if they can really be 'coached into' playing so profligately. Certainly not the way Ankergren ended up, even if he did **** himself whenever a cross came in.

With each game that Joe has played since being back in the side he has looked more and more assured.
At Forest he was faultless, a good save early on followed by a series of crosses that he simply picked off.

The defence are begining to look more solid with Lewis behind them, this may well be because when Jones is in goal they need to deal with virtually every cross into the box, whereas with Lewis there a lot of the pressure is taken off them and they gain a little respite when under pressure towards the end of matches.
