Ferguson has stated Williams could have killed RVP today by kicking the ball at his head, just wondering if anyone thought this was a ****ing huge over reaction by the scum boss, can't remember him saying much when the **** Keane tried to cut Alfie in two !!!!.

 

Wondering? Of course it was!!!

Didn't hear him say anything about Shearer kicking Lennon in the head, or Hartson doing it to Berkovic. If his argument is that it's not in the scum arena, and therefore not right for him to discuss, then the Keane/Haaland & Cantona/Shammers fan incidents should surely have drawn a comment out of him about lengthy bans for the perpetrators. Oddly enough, it didn't! Surprise, surprise!

I personally hope he gets a record heavy fine & ban for yet again unfairly criticising referees.

Btw, the rapist should have got a red card for his retaliation (under rules that have applied for many a year).

Just seen the incident. What an unbelievable overreaction.

The ball comes free and Williams goes to kick it - just as the ref blows. Just cos a player is in front of the ball does not mean you are not allowed to go for the ball. He caught the ball cleanly - it just then happened to smash into van Persie's head. Not his boot, but the ball. And the whistle was not sounding until the ball was kicked.

Can't see how any blame at all can be put on Williams.

 

Well, I do remember Danny Mills getting a red card at Highbury for kicking a ball into Cashley Cole as he lay on the ground after diving for the fifteenth time or so!

 

I must have escaped death a **** loada times going by fergies comments lol

 

Keane on Alfie was my 1st thought too

 

That WAS deliberate but he only tapped the ball into him to get the throw-in if I recall correctly

 

He admitted he did it deliberately but I also recall Alfie backed Keane up in court by saying it didn't end his career.

 

Always narked me that! Should have laid it on thick - depression, panic attacks, agrophobia etc., etc.

 

Its the season of good will, so here goes....
