I know over here if you have an issue with a ref you can request for him not to ref your games anymore ( deadly serious btw). The problem is when you get to tournament play ( everything is a tournament over here, we go mad for it), that ref could be assigned to you and that is where some problems can arise.
If we look further back for Liverpool it makes rather interesting reading. Rob Styles in Liverpools best season in recent times dared to officiate a Liverpool defeat and wasnt seen again. A suspicious pattern is emerging here. Ref a Liverpool loss and you dont come back
I see UIR had to call on someone intelligent to help him out here. Your statement is correct but the same thing has been happening since Sir became a Sir and we've all witnessed it for many years. As I said to the annoying little ****zu who "camps" out on our board 24/7 its not something you lot should worry about. I'd be loving it if we got the favouritism your lot get. Just like I'd have loved to see Sir Bob get knighted for winning the European Cup Imagine that eh. (In fairness Sir Bob may well have turned it down because he really was a working class hero)
If every ref who crapped on us over the last few years didn't get to come back we'd be playing all our games without one.
