    RVP was hit on the back of the head remember.

    With the speed/power players at that level put on the ball it could have been dangerous, especially as RVP's head wasn't actually on the ground at the moment of contact.

    But of course, Fergie was quite silly.

    I think the comments were OTT but I will add that if it had been a Man Utd player that kicked the ball there would be more calls for blood than there has been with AW.
