    Honestly don't know what all the fuss is about this. How many times every year do we hear of people who die from their head hitting a curbside or floor after a nasty fall? Enough for it to be clear that hitting a football at someone's skull from close range is clearly a bad idea at best, and attempted murder with racial motivation at worst.

    IMO Williams should have at least half a year off football and me made to think about his actions which could have deprived a family of a father, husband and brother, and many people of a friend and role model.

    Good on Sir Alexander Ferguson, CBE, for sticking up for his co-worker.

    I imagine some of them were, but there is no doubt in my mind that Williams struck the ball at Van Persie because he saw a white Muslim who he hated.

    Ah Redditch, the inbred, handout-dependent cousin of Droitwich and Bromsgrove, which in itself isn't saying ****ing much. A part of the world uniquely boorish and containing both the council estate overspill from inner city Birmingham, as well as the peasant race of ex-farmers and underskilled tracksuit addicts who sell **** they find in skips to the local pikeys. The whole place looks like it was designed by 1960s brutalist architects of the Soviet Union.

    What a shame my career there didn't go too well.

    OK looking at what we now know causes brain damage. Why are boxers not cabbaged after 1 fight.? They take 100s of blows ALL harder that what RvP got hit with, As they said on Soccer AM, Fifa are thinking of banning footballs <ok>

    I mean, Rooney trying to smash McCarthy with a flying Elbow in the face, not dangerous at all
