BBC reckon Moyes is favourite, but I think the stage is set for Mourinho personally.

Wouldn't surprise me, i always thought Utd was going to be his next job

Will be weird having Utd with a manager i don't hate, i was 1 when Fergus took over it's all i've ever known

Fergie's replacement has already been lined up apparently

There was a rumour about them wanting Klopp a couple of weeks ago. Seemed quite out of the blue then, so maybe there was some truth to it, given this development. I can see Klopp being pissed off with Bayern stealing his players.

I don't think Mourinho's capable of staying at a club for more than a few years, think they'll probably want someone more long term (Moyes)

I heard on radio 5 this morning, that they may get a manager in for a short term, just to let things lie, and JM name was branded around, this was suppose to come from a UTD player.

hes contract ran out ages ago, as he sent off Rafael
:bandit:

Probably what prompted Fergie to announce his retirement, knowing that Webb had finally turned against him and that Utd could no longer rely on favouritism from bent refs

Latest Mourinho statements show that ManU did not talk to him, and it is highly unlikely that they have not yet decided on a successor and have not yet agreed a deal. I think the deal has been done, and if it were Mourinho he would behave differently. Jose is unlikely, and Moyes is indeed is the most likely candidate. But what do I know?...
