    Although fantastic news, you do realise it's not a done deal for us to host the Turner prize?

    It's almost as if we have first refusal but the final decision lies wit the Tate Gallery

    It's only 100 yds from Anlaby Park, which is Hull.

    I wasn't aware of that, it was announced earlier as a done deal, but as you say, it seems it's not yet confirmed.

    The Ferens is being closed for 18 months to do the refurb, which seems a hell of a long time, I'm also disappointed with what they're doing with the frontage, it looks great at the moment and this glass box strapped to the front looks crap...

    I'd think if they want the big and therefore valuable stuff they are required to make fundamental changes to the building. Might seem a pain now but it's good for the long term.
