Flyer that's a very depressing list......when you think that Fergie was at OT during that entire period, no wonder at times we are a basket case.....still never a dull moment following the R's....

Doubt if Harold will be here any length of time either so the list will continue to grow....

Back on topic good luck to Ferdinand....can't really believe that he commanded as much in transfer fees as he did.....

There were a lot of us that hated the bloke, he was always extremely arrogant and boring but at least his teams played with passion, except of course when he came here.

Hughes was not a popular appointment overall.

Good luck in the future, Anton! He is not good enough for the PL, but a trier. I won't miss him playing for the Rs, but hope to be seeing him in the stands as a supporter in a few years - be nice to him, he is an R!

Good list, Flyer. It had me casting my mind back:

Gerry Francis - delighted and only disappointed when he left.
Ray Wilkins - excited when appointed, rapidly disappointed to pits of despair
Stewart Houston - nonplussed and underwhelmed
John Hollins - had lots of goodwill but his tenure was forgettable
    Ray Harford - awful
Iain Dowie - must've blinked and missed it
Gerry Francis - was never going to pull it off again
Ian Holloway - pulled lapins out of chapeaus
Gary Waddock - kinda think he was never given long enough
    John Gregory - underwhelmed
Mick Harford - only a caretaker?
Luigi De Canio - wished we'd had him longer
    Iain Dowie - underwhelmed
Gareth Ainsworth - love the guy but only the caretaker
Paulo Sousa - I was optimistic but ultimately bored
    Gareth Ainsworth - see above
Jim Magilton - hated the appointment, but suddenly there was a period of promise, then he imploded
    Marc Bircham - see Ainsworth
Paul Hart - what were they thinking?
    Mick Harford - see above
Neil Warnock - delighted and believe we'd be no worse off today had we kept him
Mark Hughes - underwhelmed when appointed, then thought last year was going to be great. He's a prick.
Harry Redknapp - delighted at the appointment and am keeping faith despite growing disquiet around me
