There should be a capital Y at the start, a comma after yes and a full stop at the end so no, it isn't.
That's bullshit! There were others contributing to the thread apart from shwan and myself. Why would you close this thread if I defend myself against shwan's insults? That's hardly fair on the writer of the article, is it? A fair way to moderate a thread is to warn the person/persons ruining it, if you'd have warned shwan about his behaviour that led to the "pissing contest" then I wouldn't have felt the need to "necro" it two weeks later.(even though the reason for bumping the thread was because a relevant occurrence in the matter had made the headlines)
Of course, my mistake It's a shame your intelligent input didn't save my thread My point is there is provocative wummery in most threads, no need to close them, imo.
Remind me, what were the terms of the bet you proposed? Edit....Well done for ignoring every relevant point I made, again, unbelievable
His foolish comments are regarded as foolish 'racist' comments by the FA. “The allegation is that the player acted in a way which was improper and/or brought the game into disrepute by making comments which included a reference to ethnic origin and/or colour and/or race,” the FA said in a statement.
So you're neither black or jewish or your view would be different. Thing is(as with Terry)the FA's agenda is to stamp out racism in all its forms and they obviously think Ferdinand's 'choc-ice' re-tweet falls into their remit on racism. If they didn't they wouldn't bother their arses charging him.
"as i said before , Rio was foolish to make this comments but it was not racist .." Well not in a legal sense as there has to be some form of intent, but by FA rule 3a standards (and the standards Suarez was judged by) they said there didn't have to be intent - the fact that Suarez had entered an insult contest (unarguably started by Evra) and had mentioned skin colour was enough for the FA. So, did Rio not endorse a tweet that insulted Cole and that made reference to skin colour? Petards, hoisting and the FA twisting on its own hook. Quality. TBF, Although there was more spite in Ferdinand's tweet, he said no more than Carlton Cole did after the Ghana game, and he just got a chunky fine and warned about future conduct. Sounds fair enough.
"this country is going mad & hysterical when it comes to any reference of ethnic groups " And has been since last December/January.
I reckon Mark McCammon probably feels the same way as shwan right now. A black player whose club has just been found guilty or racist discrimination and victimisation, and yet his case has been relegated to the Daily Fail whilst all the other newspapers focus their attention on what someone said on Twitter. This is true, but as has been pointed out before the FA's agenda is less focused on doing what's right, and more on making themselves look good to as many people as possible. Not according to Cole: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18847477 "Ashley Cole has been made aware of the discussion following comments appearing on Twitter and wishes to make it clear that he and Rio Ferdinand are good friends and Ashley has no intention of making any sort of complaint." Then again, Cashley could hardly complain after supporting JT for essentially the same thing! What was it you were saying about petards again?
Really so when you said "Had they been more consistent and organised" you actually meant just for Suarez to tell the truth did you?
Let me sum this up for you. John Terry is an absolute cock who got away with calling someone a black **** because the court couldnt prove that he used it in a racially derogative way. But the FA will charge him and he will likely get a small fine and a ban for a few matches. Rio Ferdinand is a cock who is agreeing that Ashley Cole is betraying Black people because he defended a white guy in a case against a black person and he should have automatically been on Antons side because Anton is black like him. Which is also racist. Anyone who cannot see that is suffering from a level of spastication greater than that I thought ever was possible. It wont go to court because it was a silly comment probably made in jest, and Rio being the tard that he is probably didnt even understand what he was saying. But the FA will probably still hit him with a ban because at the end of the day the term choc ice implies that black people should act different to white people and that black people should always stick together regardless of the facts purely because they are black. I dont believe either player is racist, I just think they are both thick, overpaid idiots. And Rio should never be let loose on a Twitter account. I really wish that every club would issue a PL Wide Ban on Twitter accounts.
delayed reaction....the dust has settled..i dont think your insight was required......internet warrior arrrgh...fuk off since when did a cock like you become the voice of reason...gobshaite....opinions are not just for hard done by Liverpool fans
all the banter and havng a dig aside..this sums this whole saga up perfectly for me...the whole issue is quite boring now.
Not what you were saying before, here you are agreeing that Terry is not a racist but I for one have seen you brand him a racist on many occasion.
