What the **** have you and SJW been getting up to ? He's your wetness ? You should keep that stuff to PM mate
I'm using the tablet thingyamajig that mam bought me for my birthday and I keep on hitting the wrong ****ing keys
I thought Wilshere and Ramsey did really well last night. Meireles was crap, nobody can deny that, but I think TT is sometimes off his fookin rocker
Yea I also said Ramsey was excellent. Wilshere had a poor game though (individually). Villa was a test that they didn't pass as a CM pairing. Fenerbache simply wasn't a test. Fulham should give us a clearer idea of their capability together.
I thought Wilshere did okay, but he's clearly not totally match fit at the moment. We really need to strengthen the midfield before the window shuts. The addition of Flamini, which is being reported tonight is a good pragmatic move to add some steel to the centre of our team, but I'd hope we'd sign another one too.
Disagree. He was not outstanding or anything, but he did his job in midfield and kept it ticking and this time, he did track the midfielder runners from the opposition. He is still finding his way back, and has not got that burst back yet, but when he does then that's what makes him stand out. It's the key part of his game, and without it, he can look ordinary. But it was another 90 mins for him and that can only be a good thing.
I sometimes wonder if you are all serious, or taking the piss. You have such a fixed opinion on players and performance, that doesn't seem to take into account their team-mates, or who they were up against. It's almost like you were commenting on an individual sport. I take it Meireles is off the wish list as a signing then?
Agree, but I thought he lost the ball too much. Also, you're right that he lost his burst, at least in the first half. Perhaps he was just poor by his high standards. Admittedly, I should have clarified what I meant by `individually' poor.
That's more down to his composure and lack of experience. I can see him sort this out once he hits his peak.
What do you mean exactly fella ? Meireles is generally a good player, but he was crap against us. It's no reflection, comment or judgement on any Arsenal player. It's just a simple observation of his game on Weds.
Who's wish list? Can you write a single post without claiming other people have opinions that they've never voiced in their life? It's "almost like" that is it? No, it's ****ing not. All you do is distort people's opinions into something you can argue against.
I don't think he even agrees with himself. Stick him in a room by himself and he'd probably just argue all day...
Well, when I watched that game, what I saw was us working far better as a team than they were. My immediate reaction was not Meireles is crap, it was Meireles is being hung out to dry by his team mates. Sow and Webo are playing way to far up, and he wasn't getting much help. I don't know how you can rate Meireles as a player based on his being outnumbered in midfield for most of the game. Similarly, saying Jack had a bad game is harsh, considering our midfield was dominant for the game. You end up judging players for one or two misplaced passes, rather than the important stuff. It's a bit like when people used to criticize Beckham when he was playing for England. He would be marked by the full back and the winger, take them virtually out of the game so that Gerrard and Lampard etc. were effectively a man up, and everyone would say that he had a bad game, because Gerrard and Lampard couldn't do **** with the space.
