Walcott set up the first and ot the penalty for the third. I have a feeling he will improve on his stats from last season. We have a lot of young players who are really comming into there prime. Ramsey, Walcott, Wilshere, Gibbs, Kosc, will all hopefully have big seasons as they are at the point where they can really push on in there careers andcement there places in the future of this Arsenal team. I think Jenkinson (who played really well today) and oxocube are still a couple of seasons behind the others in there development (which isn't a suprise as they are younger). On top of that we have some good experienced players in the squad for the young players to learn from in Cazorla, Rosicky, Arteta and Podolski who can all do a good professional job. I really think we have a good core to our squad and a good mix of players at different times in there careers, we are just missing those couple of world class players who can win a game on there own and maybe a couple of solid squad players to cover injuries if none of the youth are yet ata level to step in.
I refreshed once and was about to do it again and realised otherwise i would have been competing for most times posting the same comment!
Wenger's said "He's(Koscielny) in hospital. We have to check that no bone is broken. He opened the skull, it's very deep. Hopefully we get good news." Now by my understanding, isn't opening the skull technically a break?
I guess when they say fractured skull they mean a wider area of the skull being affected, and not just the impact area?
Btw i cracked up at Walcotts post match comments saying Gibbs cried like a little girl when he almost re-opend his cut! I think the atmosphere amongst our players is good and everyone seems to get on. Think that goes a long way when the pressure is on.
How bad was Raul Meireles by the way? One of the worst performances I have seen from a midfielder in a while.
