All press speculation on any QPR signings are completely inaccurate. I have stated many times we have learnt. So unless you hear it from QPR don't take anything serious

Looks like people who are annoyed the the oaps linked and hounded him off there and no, I dont use it as Ive said many times I hate it.

Good move plus the world in the end will get fed up with twitter, Facebook etc ... great ideas but then get business involved like most things it will die

My sons are at last beginning to see how much time you need to donate to broadcasting yourself

This is no different but there is a good community of brilliant QPR fans who contribute good stuff on here and I cheat and get paid for using this media

Twitter lost £600m last year, theres no way it can continue like that and its at its peak already so it shouldnt be too long before it becomes another myspace.

I dont blame TF, I wish our players and one on particular would get off it too.

It will be bought up by Google. Google are slowly but surely buying the Internet.

I am surprised TF lasted this long. I agree with you, the club should force Barton off of it.

He should disable his account every transfer window; he must get a lot of hassle.

This is fantastic news though, I'm glad he thinks Rio would be a regressive signing too.

A shame, love his transparency. Hope he returns.

Disagree re Barton. He's quite refreshing to follow and at the moment one of the clubs biggets marketing tools (no pun intended). His own internet site is very good too.

Think it is a shame personally. What stood him apart from other owners is his transparency and the ease of contacting him. I know there are some morons out there who like to abuse and slate him on Twitter, but tbh you have to accept in the role he is in you can't make everyone happy.

He might be entertaining but all I care about is what goes on on the pitch and he plays better when he's off twitter.

His worst ever game for us was after the scousers were giving him abuse, remember Liverpool at home?

I've been contemplating joining twitter for some time. By the time I get my ar*e into gear, there'll be no one on there

Apparently something like 80-90% of them don't get a single reply.
Its just a bunch of people broadcasting to the world and no one listening, its OK for stalking celebs I suppose.

Football wise, anything that comes off there is total bollocks, it makes cerny look reliable!

I've always had a problem with Twitter and its use in football as it causes issues just because it forces people to say whats on their mind or gives people a chance to spread gossip to millions, hopefully it will vanish and be replaced with a similar type of system which makes good use of the idea, as the actual idea of Twitter is pretty good, although the name is unfortunate!

I'm sure you're right. That's why I've been vacillating about joining. I'll leave it another 12 months then...

I'm considering starting to use twitter. Just so i can send horrible, unprovoked, abuse to famous people i don't know, obviously.
