No outrage. It'll be a few years before England are competitive, though we do have some decent young talent to look forward too. Luke Shaw, for one.

More than a nucleus, I reckon. Wonder if they'll squander it like England?

Yep, Fellaini was immense. Sharp-elbowed players are by far my worst to play against, and he is that and more. Always come off the pitch with bruises and cuts even if you haven't technically been fouled by them. Usally spend some time winded too. Him and Dembele in the same side must be like a brick wall. Wonder if we could chuck a black afro on De Ridder and get the same 'luxury Belgian' effect?

My worst player of the night was Naismith - some of his attempted/threatened flops to the floor with Clyne were embarassing. Tried a penalty claim towards the end too.

Mignolet, Courtois, Kompany, Fellaini, Vertonghen, Hazard, Witsel, Defour, De Bruyne, Vermalen, Alderweireld, Mirallas would all make the England team with ease.

That's not mentioning players like Lukaku, Vossen, Benteke, Van Buyten, Nainggolan etc

Belgium will be a threat at the next world cup. Excluding Spain, Argentina, Brazil and Germany they have the best squad IMO. But they have a better defence than Argentina, I'm only rating Argentina's squad as better because they have the best forwards in the world.

Cork and Schneiderlin did brilliantly to keep him fairly quiet attacking wise though. He got so frustrated towards the end of the first half.

How come so many of them are beasts (physically)? Kompany, Fellaini, Dembele (assume you think he'd make the England team too?), Lukaku, Benteke etc.
