what's really funny is how you spurs fan's can't seem to keep your mouths shut and are going on about this 1 season when you have a slightly better squad than us like it's the greatest thing to have ever happened and you have become the new big force, it's only 1 season, and hasn't even ended yet, you'd think you guys had won the league or had been doing this consistently over us, now THAT is funny.
better team? i'd say about equal better squad? yes better manager? 3 PL titles, 1 ligue 1 title, 4 FA cups against harrys 1 Fa cup also, 14 straight top 4 finishes, spurs are 3rd but you would have thought they were at the top of the league by the way the media are bigging them up
Don't know how you can rate players head to head like this. From the Spurs team, I would take only Bale as a left back, and even then he would need time to settle in. Maybe if Arsenal played a different way, but as long as we play a passing game, the Spurs players aren't good enough. However, I do understand, if they don't rate some of our players either. For their fast, kick and run tactics, some of our players might not suit them. VDV would be the other I might consider, but I am a big fan of Song, so not interested.
I'd take Modric, Bale (as a LM), Defoe, Lennon and VDV from their team. We don't have anyone as strong as Bale is on the left offensively, we don't have a better ball player in the middle of the park than Modric, VDV would be an excellent player behind a main striker and Defoe score more goals than a few ! He knows where the goal is, always has and always will.
