wots ur prob simon nobody loves leeds more than me---others tell the truth bates is tight accept it we will never win owt while he is in charge---wot can u do with a boot an a clog------an a spineless manager
What gets me, we sign pointless squad players. Why on earth aren't we giving White & Lees a game, even Grella for that matter when we have a striking problem. Or do like we were actually promised and sign proven players to make us better.
Totally agree Ben. Players like O'Dea, Paynter and O'Brien come in and don't perform, when Tom Lees, Aidy White and Grella (all of whom are just as good) stick in stands.
Ageed Ben,what was the point of signing O'Dea? We already have 5 CB's so that wasn't the reason. If the reason was that he believes White & Parker aren't up to it then it still doesn't make sense. Surely you sign a specialist LB,not a 6th CB & play him out of position. & if he does believe in White & Parker why not play one of them at LB & use the money used for O'Dea's wages to sign a striker on loan. & if he couldn't find a suitable striker in time for the opening game then why not have Grella more involved? I seriously think Grayson's losing the plot,& I think the players sense that too.
You can't count then? They released two that they didn't want and lost another 4 totalling 6. They signed 8 for the new season, they are stronger by 2. Three of the signings are Robert Earnshaw, Kenny Miller and Aron Gunnarsson...
I watched a decent portion of the match out of boredom more than anything else. Cardiff scored against the run of play.
Rob Earnshaw and Kenny Miller are both massively overrated IMO. Earnshaw's supposedly a goal poacher who hasn't scored lots of goals in a season for a long time.
Lees and White, fair enough (although White is not the solution to our left back problem - he's too lightweight). Grella is awful. His poor attitude showed against Farsley.
