Tell yer mate, i i honestly don't know how they fooking do 34+ degrees everyday out here with no rest from it. Ive seen guys cladded up in Jackets go to work first thing in the morning, i look and think wtf! As for advise on footwear i do have decent fitting stuff, my mistake was going to fast too soon like we do in the UK, ive learned now to slow it down.
Next time buy some anti blister socks as it will save you from all this agony - there not that fear on Amazon. Most I have ever walked in 1 day was 40 miles, took me just over 13 hours and nearly killed me
Nor had I until I was advised about them. Not dear to buy (£5ish for 3 pairs) and well worth it. When I go to the gym I wear them instead of normal trainer socks, and they have been excellent.
Best advice was to change socks after 10 or 15 km. I rarely get blisters - but do quite often lose a toenail...
How hot do you need to heat the paper clip up to melt holes through toenails? Sounds like a scene from Tenko.
Listerine is your friend with feet. Iirc it was meant for feet originally? (Could be wrong) There are some folk who may have allergies to certain ingredients so check. Pure rose water for the eyes and Listerine foot spa/wash was two things I used in cricketing days. Worked for me
I even buy my own trainers for work. I do mile after mile each day, last thing i want is some ****ty footwear. Strange thing is, my work trainers are more comfortable than the Sambas i wear when not at work.
As in weights ? Then yes but no power lifts for me as far too old and I have a dodgy knee from my Rugby playing days
