Its looking more and more likely that we will be relegated which is hugely disappointing given the good work done over the festive period.
However, I would rather approach the last few games in Alex Neil fashion and give a good account of ourselves. If the quality isn't there I think we again need to learn lessons but I'd rather go down 'having a go' and if we manage to get enough points to stay up then fantastic. If not...........
The we MUST keep AN. With him in control and adopting a similar approach to the last time we were relegated I have no doubt that we will be able to get out of the championship again next season.
I know that next season will bring us one of 2 things:
1) Championship football - more games, more goals and certain more ups than we have in the Premier League.
2) Premier league football and dining at the top table and everything that brings - more media coverage, more money for the club and the chance for AN to improve his Premier League squad.
Whatever happens we need to get and stick behind AN. There certainly isn't anyone I can think of that I would rather be managing our club and the lessons he will have learnt this season will only make him and even better manager.
