I imagine that he's about to be exposed so now made an announcement.
Who really gives a f*** if somebody chocolate dips.

And he did take a thread in a "certain direction"I knew you would take this thread in a certain direction
On a serious note, his wife must have known for years. He’s been living a lie in part out of commercial reasons. When he started off on Blue Peter this would have been a career killer. Wrongly, but those were the times.

I don't think Schofield was on Blue Peter. You may be thinking of Going Live!.I knew you would take this thread in a certain direction

I think you nicked that joke off Terry Christian.
According to Joan Collins everyone in showbiz knew he was gay, so why did he need to come ahrt?
It's strange. It was front page news, even in the Grauniad. I hardly knew who he was, let alone what his sexual orientation is.I caught a front page headline on sunday about this. Honsetly, if I was on my way to buy a newspaper and this was the frot page, I wouldn't part with my money. Is it even a story? Man admits he's gay? Wow, how on earth did that happen?

Is your life richer now you know? It just feels like the ongoing reality TV/delve into the private lives of micro-personalities stuff that so many people seem to think is a good substitute for actually living. I wasn't at the City ground last night, but that win made me supremely happy. Stuff like the Schofield story make me wonder whether a lot of people out there need some sort of stimulus in their lives.
