Match Day Thread Feedback on match day threads

Chief does a mean match thread though beautiful in its simplicity.

 

Ok guys I hear you.

Last year I semi regularly ask, no match thread anyone doing one on carra arms.

The standard frankly of thread we had by the end compared to say the spurs board or even funky here who having a boast has been bad...

That is NOT an insult to those who did try to do good ones during the year.

We've had no thread for some games, other team fans making one, one liners, some good ones.

Sure by all means if Chris would return I'd love that and all.

If someone would stick their hand up and say I'm gonna go do it fine.


Forgive me for wanting to make the offering better as my opinion is if you want a board with 5/6 old handers and 5/6 non redd fans this seems a real good way we are going.

We've some good stuff on this board but I'm hearing nah just key whatever happen so fair enough that's what I'll do.

No one said you can't do it MITO, if there isn't one then just do it if you want to do it. The general consensus seems to be 'whatever'

It maybe late, there will be mistakes but I'll jazz it up and make sure we win even if we don't.

 

I'll write a comedy one at some point for the craic.

It is though, Who else is going to do the Sunderland Match threads? I'm now above the law.

 

We could have a poll each week.... Or a rota or who ever does one nominates the next person to do one

cant nominate person that just nominated you
cant nominate someone that has been nominated within the last month

if you nominate someone and they fail to make a half decent attempt then something bad happens... (Not sure what yet though)

Making decent match threads in general takes some time, effort and imagination, so that rules out virtually the entire forum

I wasn't saying we should actually do it, it would never never for that very reason but a fun idea though.
