Think if we dont sign him at that price then we dont want him. We do need another CB but whether or not its him or someone else or they have decided not to sign one who knows. Also need a quality FB and if poss a back up striker. Cant see us signing a winger. In listing our wingers we have Guti, Marvo (deliberate), Obertan, (I know but Pards likes him), HBA, Ferguson and Samiobi can play there.

Nah it looks as though he isn't really interested in joining so bollocks to him.

I really think we'll sign Pieters, i know he's injured but i think we'll try and get a deal done either this month or in January. Just a gut feeling I have!

 

A bullet dodged methinks.

 

Pieters makes the most sense of a in a lot of ways. Plays both centre back and left back. Both areas we need a little more depth. He's injured and has been regularly over last 12 months. Mike will sense a cut price deal. Has made no secret of his liking for us and is big mates with Tim Krul.

I've said before I'm unsure over his abilities but its based on very little, mainly on the way back from injuries. If Carr etc like him then the chances are he is better than he has shown when I've seen him, and he is a pretty good fit all round.

 

I think we won't sign anyone else, however if we sell someone we might.

 

He's totally overrated and a troublemaker to boot, Fulham can have him!

But if he picks us he's just the type of player we need, a real talent and very passionate.
