I'm not the vindictive type, but, Just start making a note of who what where and when. This will allow you so much more time to craft a monumentally sarcastic response when their team/passion goes pear shaped.

Yep, take it on the chin and hold your head up high. My standard response to Man U, Liverpool, Arsenal etc 'fans' after they've had their say is to ask when they last saw their team play live. Shuts a few of them up.
