What an odd post, why the wholesale changes?... think the line-up will be

    Hamer

    Solly, Taylor, Morrison, Wiggins

    Green, Hollands, xxxxxx, Jackson,

    BWP, Kermorgant.

Stephens' place is the only one up for grabs in my eye at the moment, and I can't see anyone leaving in January except Benson and possibly Alonso, who seems out of favour. We don't need to sell, we're on the up, and we've all seen what Norwich (and now Saints) can do... we're very similar. Wouldn't be surprised to see Russell's name in that xxxx box, but would be perfectly happy if it's Stephens and would like to see the youngsters get a shot as well.

Let's face it, BWP whilst excellent is nowhere near as marketable as Rhodes. A lot of the players signed this season and therefore can't be registered for a 3rd club so they're going nowhere til the summer. Jackson I just can't see leaving.

    That makes sense!!

In fact, shows how far we've come in such a short space of time!

Solly may not be as glamorous as Wiggins, but to my mind he's at least equally as good. Strong as an ox and very intelligent and composed when defending and on the ball. He does not need replacing IMO - we have back up there should be get injured in the form of Hughes (Francis' loan deal will probably become a permanent one) and Cousins.

Very sporting of cafc4ever to draw attention to his own shameful punditry. I would have bribed the mods to delete it. Of course, it didn't looked so stupid at the time, which shows just how far we, and some of the players, have come in a few months.

I am sure the OP now admires Solly as much as the rest of us. Don't agree we don't need back-up. Hughes is far too slow to play full-back and Cousins needs to develop physically. He's only 17. CP obviously agrees which is why we were trialling Parnaby two weeks ago. CP is looking for another RB for sure.

Never knew that Eddie...!! He'll do for me as back up for Solly. He's a thoroughly decent player who can also operate at CB.
