It was a terrible miss, but in fairness, he doesn't actually get many clear cut chances because the service is so bad. Hopefully eriksen can find him a few times and supply him with something so he can find the back of the net. 1 goal from open play will do him the world of good. You can bet that soldado will be over analysing every mistake he makes and as every match goes by, it gets worse and worse. The lads need to do all they can to help him.
Soldado gas the air of someone who is on his way out...hasnt done enough for a player of his stature ...the miss was awful...kind makes tge sale of defoe even less understandable
Townsend doesn't know the meaning of 'team play' so it's difficult isn't for Soldado when chances are rare. Eriksen and Paulinho are the two players you want on the pitch to help Soldado but in the league, is there a place for both Eriksen and Soldado? And even if there is, Adebayor won't be dropped. Although, having Freund as the coach in shooting practice, probably isn't helping!
This is the other side of things. You have to wonder if soldado is already planning his transfer request to end his nightmare.

Really poor from dawson diving in and not getting the ball...and from vertongen We have been very poor defensively all game...have given the ball away too often and have not deserved a clean sheet... Only brad and paulinio and chadli have done their jobs without mistakes
I agree, Dnipro deserve this one. They've created the better chances. I'm not sure I blame the players that much. It's really been an awful EL so far, from Spurs POV. Five teams they should beat, far, far away on awful pitches. Hard to get up for. (EDIT) My god, was that worse than Soldado's miss?
