Certainly hope we take off Walker and Dembele at halftime.

Holtby to Defoe has been absolutely deadly this year (except in its cameo against good opp.).

I was getting annoyed we kept trying to jam it through the bus in the middle. Credit to Anzhi, though, they closed down very aggressively. I also think this game should be about as hard to get excited about as any game this year, so it's not a surprise we looked pretty flat.

Well that was a bit of a snorefest for awhile, wasn't it? Understandable as it was on a crap pitch but we need to start passing ithe ball in the air rather than along the ground. Holtby had the right idea for the opener and Walker was providing that outlet on a couple of occassions towards the end of the half and a little surprised he didn't just have a dig on at least one of the opportunties. Definitely the right choice to square it but he does like a shot.

Think Chadli and Lamela should swap for the second half and act as orthodox wingers to open up the space, we made it too narrow and easy for them for most of the first half.

Good analysis. However, Soldado has been involved in most of our goals. Holtby + Defoe is the gamble. Can they open the floodgates, or will we fail to get the goal a game we've been getting from Soldado.

I understand what you're saying tots and CJ, it is a tough one. I guess the spammers would be the ideal time for Defoe to start, as I'm expecting a win whoever starts up top for us

Yeah, it's not the best, is it? Couldn't they have hired a decent one with all the money they've saved? Shame.

Posting on an iPhone is more painful than listening to this Scottish commentator. Who is it?

Any ideas why Lloris plays these games? - I feel for Brad, he looked genuinly happy with the goal against Chelsea and I think he deserves some more game time. There is no ITV4 HD is there, if not why not show these games on ITV2..

You don't see that too often, our beast swatted away! Robspur will be disappointed! He's some unit that Traore, looks like he can play a bit too.
