Real men don't drink wine, and even if they did, they'd not boast about it.

****s.

The Romans drank wine and they conquered half the world.

Mind you, so did the Greeks and they invented bumming so what do I know?

ps You can't beat a nice vintage Cotes du Rhône.

pps I'm not allowed ot drink wine any more :emoticon-0101-sadsm

My tipple is a full bodied red, nothing less than 13% proof. Last night I had a cabernet sauvignon for £3.99 from Lidl, and 3 cans of Murphy's, drank 2 while making dinner then had the bottle of wine with the food and finished with another can for a night-cap. Lovely.

Lidl's do a really nice chardonnay too, can't remember the % but it's quite high!

I'll maybe give it a try, I have a bottle of white just for a change now and again. Lidl are good value for their bevvy. The wife hates me going in there as she knows that's what I,m going in for.
