The film Lost in Space, from 1998, was epic.

The Woodentops dog was called Spot - I do a passable impersonation if plied with sufficient alcohol!

    Capt Pugwash - classic.

Anyone remember Tales from the Riverbank - live mice and rats on toy boats.

LFIH and I have similar tastes - loved Robinson Crusoe and like FFD have the soundtrack which is a cracker - also loved The Flashing Blade another great theme - I remember watching Tales from the Riverbank at my Nan's and being in awe of a Guinea Pig "GP"? driving a Jeep....Bill & Ben and Pogle's Wood - and of course Trumpton/Camberwick.......I think in some ways they were better than today's TV - really sparked the imagination.

I'm surprised none of the girls have mentioned White Horses or Belle & Sebastian? One thing I do remember very well was the very first episode of Star Trek. It was back in the mid-sixties and was aired after Grandstand on a Saturday evening maybe as far back as 1965.
We kids all loved Fireball XL5, Stingray and Thunderbirds but Star Trek was in another league- with real people.

    Aahhh - Star Trek - I was/still am a trekkie.

Does anyone remember The Martian Chronicles with Rock Hudson? That was a good series too. Have just thrown away the video of that.
