wrong time of year for you then? Spril thru To september is short and t-shirt weather; 30+ during the summer months..
Nah It's a nice lager, despite it being called "bitter". perhaps it was the novelty factor as you don't see it often.
You can buy that in Waitrose. You can in my local one anyway. Never tried it, I'm new to the scene to be honest, but I'll keep an eye out of it.
i can't get away with lagers in British pubs they're honking. really like Hop House 13 - the local by my sisters serves it, and it has become my London-based brew. Also really like a pint or 2 of Landlord Pale Ale, by Timothy Taylor when i can get it. Nice.
White Widow was the last I had, in Amsterdam, not smoked it since then, been years, left it behind and I'll never go back.
Watch out for that Samuel Adams a lot of it is brewed in the UK now, you're paying through the nose for something brewed in Surrey.
Could be brewed in my neighbours shed for all I care mate it's lovely! Not as good as draught but still good.
Strange to make a thread and not comment on it BK... I can only assume you're away trying all of these tipples and you've passed out. Good man.
I've been a lager man most of my life, but like Tel, i've recently crossed over to IPA's, there's some belters out there and i don't really have a favorite but tend to try different ones each time. I am partial to a nice red wine though, mainly a nice Barolo or Amerone if i'm feeling flush, otherwise it's any old ****e.
I wish. I'm sat in the car driving up to Cambridge with the wife going to see a dog she wants. A ****ing daschund.
