S L O W night.

Favourite match you have attended.

Now, I'm honoured to have been at the best-voted match ever at Roker Park. SAFC 3 Man City 1.

However, my favourite ever match was the season after. SAFC 3 Derby 0. Halom hat-trick.

Anyone else there that night? Remember, we had beaten the supposed best team in Europe the year before, this year we did beat the best.

Greatest match ever for me.

Sunderland 2 - 1 Newcastle, Richardson free kick. Or strangely tottenham away when cisse scored the winner, cracking atmosphere.

1990 play offs at st james' park for me bonny, absolutely magical although the semi final v norwich at hillsborough is a very close 2nd, as for best atmosphere it has to be 1980 v west ham with promotion secured at roker park, i can still feel the noise ringing in my ears 31 years on

Strangely mine was Sunderland vs. Charlton, that play off game.

The occasion, the atmosphere, the way the lads played. The result didn't go for us that day, but still have to say one of the best games I've ever seen.

Sheer class that night. Was in Fulwell end singing my heart out (incidentally thats not a pleasant sound).

Newcastle 1 Sunderland 4.

1979, Gary Rowell hat trick right in front of the Gallowgate.
