Same applies except you get two votes. Tough one this one.

 

Van Dijk and Fonte for me. I'm ignoring the last few months of their Saints careers.

 

Toby and Virgil were the best by about a gazillion miles.

I’ve gone for Jose and Jos. Alliteration all the way. I’ll step back from Jose’s last season antics and give him this deserved award. I simply loved Jos’ attitude to life and football. A great signing for the championship at that time. Top bloke.


Oh and we’d have to play every game on a Tuesday.

 

Of the three votes so far, this is by some way the easiest for me. I struggled to make a decision with the first two.

(Although a part of me is hurt at not picking Jaidi.)

 

I'm leaning towards Fonte and Jos too but part of me wants Maya.

 

For me this is undoubtedly the hardest so far. I simply have to give a place to Jose but then I'm torn on Maya and Jos.

But then I absolutely loved watching both Toby and Virgil play and like you I feel bad for leaving Jaidi out!

Jos and Maya for me. Ol' cardboard box head was great for us, as long as it was a Tuesday and Maya...can't really justify it based on how good he actually is, I just think he's a top professional and a proper Saint.

As favorite goes, I’m going with Maya and Jos. Maya seems such a great human and plays hard anywhere they put him. For some reason I just liked Jos back I the day. Not really sure why though.

The other is close run toss up between Jos and Maya, but the recent good deeds by the latter revealed on here has swayed it towards him.
