Off Topic Favourite grub

Sea food, ****ing love it.
Except for squid, octopus & scallops.
I could live on shellfish.
I would happily give up meat for this stuff unless it's from a pig.
No one will take my pig meat away.
Bacon alone would be a big miss.
Having cod tonight. A nice big fat ****ing fillet.

I was recently down in the New Forest and went shopping in a Farmers Market and bought 4 large peices of proper black pudding., nowt like the ****e you get from the supermarkets down here and demolished them in one sitting. ****ing love the stuff.

Do you make your own food Billy?

I wouldn't know where to start with a big fat ****ing fillet of cod.

Good thing to have in a forest, black pudding... if you get lost, full of fats that'll keep you going for ages, until rescue comes.

It's 14" long so I will cut it in two & lightly grill it with a bit butter & lemon juice on & serve it with mushy peas.
Bought it from the fishmonger - skinless & boneless, beautiful. <ok>

Sounds like even I could do that, do you not get fish juice and butter all over your grill?

You need to line out the grill pan with tin foil & then grease another piece with butter so the fish doesn't stick & put it over the rack.
Makes cleaning up so much easier.
If I have smoked cod I boil it in a pan & serve it with peas & baby minted potatoes. Lovely.

They've got some good beers too eh, I quite often pick up a few bottles of Mythos when I see it over here.

Their wine...well it's cold and gets you drunk if you have a couple of carafes to yourself.
Yeh love mythos looking forward to some next week

I been really enjoying high quality Franks. Gourmet Hot dogs are the bollocks. Low quality Franks and hotdogs have to be about the most vile thing out there so the difference in quality really matters. In my hotdog i like mustard(old english made from powder), onions(crisp but chard) with a bit of tom sauce that's been mixed with balsamic vinegar.
