Would you say they all had the same style as the Henry Sugar one, as in having the plot narrated while they change the background, or are the other stories handled more traditionally?

Finished Kinds of Kindness tonight, big fan of Yorgos Lanthimos and have liked all his films but not this one. No matter how weird he gets I can usually understand roughly what he's getting at, this one left me baffled.
Usually when that happens I'll google it to have it explained to me by more intelligent people but I can't be arsed with this one. Too obscure and impenetrable, bleakly funny throughout, challenging and consistently interesting but my least favourite of his by some margin.

Oddity was a belter, gripping from start to finish and loads of character and atmosphere.
Put it this way, on a good day (not tired, start the film early) after eating tea we class it as a result if my wife makes it through 40 mins of something before dropping off, today she was knackered, we also ate late and we watched the full 99 mins. Absolutely unprecedented. No higher recommendation than that.

It's been a long day and we put it on quite late, looking at my wife at kickoff I estimated about 15/20 minutes before she fell asleep but we watched the full hour and a half. Very entertaining, takes the form of a 70s late night chat show with an emphasis on the occult.

Just thought I'd mention, it is on Shudder (if you didn't already know) which is an Amazon bolt on, think it's about a fiver a month but you get the first week free if there was only a couple of films you were interested in.
There's not loads to be fair, maybe ten crackers exclusive to the service then a load of filler.
The Holdovers is very good, it's set in the early 70s and is about a small group of staff and pupils at a private school near Boston who get stranded there over Christmas for a variety of reasons.
Great dry sense of humour and relatable characters and situations. Trailer makes it look like a comedy but it's more of a reflection on life and relationships.

Watched an amazing film last night - Hidden Figures. The true story about three female africian-americian mathematicians working for NASA. This goes into my top 20 all time films. It was simply amazing.
