    Well in fairness I'm at a disadvantage to a lot of you on this one - I'm not a world authority on exactly what happened in all of the decades so am not in a position to say which one was the best and why and i'm also not qualified to say that something is **** when it's actually a subjective thing and therefore purely down to opinion. I can only really go on personal experience and I liked the 80s and thought there was some good stuff produced.

    I track the decades of the 20thC from the 60s onwards based on Bowie.

    60s = ****e
    70s = brilliant
    80s = all about the money
    90s = patchy but got it's musical respect back

    I don't like sc-fi at all.

    One could hardly call the original Star Trek sci-fi FFS <laugh>

    It was just earth morals (or lack of them) on alien cardboard planets.

    As of now, I listened to a wide selection of music but also Supergrass, Inspiral Carpets, Suede etc.
