Alfa GTV V6 for me, use it every day, never let me down, just keep checking the water and oil, Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 4.7 for Mrs Becclestone.
Oh Jacky_Ickxââ¬Â¦ Oh Jacky oh Jackyââ¬Â¦ That car (actually a P3 /4) and its few sisters is the automobile's defining moment; where beauty and the four-wheeled beast made its closest pass on perfection. These cars are very much to autos what the Spitfire is to aerosââ¬Â¦ Here's one of the not so ugly sisters: the 1967 350 Can-Amââ¬Â¦ P.S. Help! - How do I post this picture at full scale? It's too good to miss and this little thumbnail does not do it justice! [Edit: My thanks to BLS for helping me show this picture properly].
Above the comment bar theres a box with a tree in (3rd from the right). Click that and enter the url and jobs a gooden.
Hahaha… yes, I think I remember! Ha! Now she's mine all mine! P.S. Did I post a P3 /4 there? I can't remember but I think have some good pictures.
Beautiful Tambo (not you; the car!). And of course it was the fore-runner in design, of the Ferrari Jacky and I have posted above.
You raised my hopes and dashed them to the ground. I will have to go and throw up my tea now. But seriously, yes it is a stunning car and the pics of the Ferrari did remind me of it. I also think it gets added points for having Steve McQueen in it.
My apologies Tamburello. My admiration for these curves is borne of their female form - so you've got no chance! The XK SS was the tree from which those Ferraris blossomed. But I have one more marque to add, and a model I confess a wish to own. It is another British car which formed the envy of Ferrari: Two pictures of the Aston Martin DB4: Here is a 1959 DB4 Series 1. Please excuse whomever nicked her bumpers! And here's a Series 2 from 1961 with standard wire-wheels and bumpers still intact! Hmm… Somewhere I have a really good picture of one of these…
So many beautiful cars here. Although the Ferrari 250LM is my favourite car, when i was a kid in the 70's I collected matchbox cars, these 2 were my favourites
Kicking me when I am down! I agree with you about the curves, reminds me of Oscar Niemeyer buildings. I do not think Aston Martin could make a ugly car even if they tried. Apart from the Lagonda of course which just looked like a Volvo. Oh and that runt city car aberration.
Will be a couple of years before I buy me first car yet, but, if I had the money there are a few that i would have. I've always liked Nissan's, so I would get a GTR. As far as fine tuning your car, it has everything, and is still practical or raod use. I like the old skylines as well. I think it's chris evans who has a garage full of Ferrari's, i think i'll get a garage full of Nissans! there are a few oldies I like - like the Ferrari 512BB and Lamborghini Diablo - but I prefer the newer supercars. Maybe the Ascari A10, Pagain Zonda R or the Aston Martin One-77; please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
