(at the time) Michael Owen - For obvious reasons I've since turned against him, Robbie Fowler, and also Jari Litmanen

Outside Liverpool: Henry and Del Piero.

My Brother is named after Craig Johnston, shame he's now a Chelsea fan (My brother, that is...)

From other clubs I like Gabriel Batistuta, Juninho, Patrick M'Boma, Ronald Koeman & Patrick Kluivert

Barnes was my hero as a kid, I even started playing on the left wing despite being right footed. About seven years ago I met him in a hotel, he was wearing a full length leather trench coat, he looked like a cross between a fireman and Laurence Fishburne's character in the Matrix, what a tit!

Chris Lawler. But I did once see George Best (past his Best) at Anfield when I was a kid. He wasn't arsed, but still did three/four runs past me in the Paddock where he just glided like a God. Exceptional - and a real wste.
