Tel, I'm sorry I called you that.

I don't Google so I was just going on only having remembered him scoring once for us. How many has he got? Two? Three? Either way it ain't much for 4 or 5 years as our midfield maestro. If he's been crocked for a lot of that time that's all the more reason to suspect his usefulness.

Do you want me to dig out another, say 30, quotes from Barton from the ridiculous to the even more ridiculous? That would give some context as to how much he should be taken seriously. COLIN? Has he ever actually managed a good team?

I don't know. How long has Faurlin been with us?

Apology accepted & to answer your question's.

1) Faurlin signed prior to the start of the 2009-10 season & won the players & supporters player of the year. This was followed by the promotion season & then the first year back in the Premier. In the Premier he was ever present & top of the statistics for tackles won when he received his injury in Milton Keynes.

2) As I stated in my earlier reply, he hasn't scored many goals for us, five being the answer. A poor tally, but I wouldn't be surprised if his "assists" are more than any other player (that is speculation & not a fact).

3) Has Warnock managed a good team? Probably the Queens Park Rangers Championship winning side is his best, so I would tend to have my doubts that he has. However, there have been a few good players he has managed (including two (good?) players you have named as being better than Faurlin). After decades of managing Football League clubs, Warnock naming Ale as the best player is quite an accolade.

Will Ale Faurlin ever be the same player prior to the MK injury? Almost certainly not, but then that would be comparing him to a time when he was about to play for Argentina.

Again this is only speculation, but i would think that this season he has won more tackles than any other midfield player at the club.

I don't expect everyone to agree with my views of Ale Faurlin as a player, but I doubt if many would find a bad one to say about him as a person.

I thought Henry was our current holding midfielder ? He needs to be moving forward , creating , chipping in with goals now and then no ? All I see is the odd quality sideways pass . Not strong enough in the takle if a holding midfielder also ....

You really haven't got a clue have you.

Faurlin and Henry play the same position. Just because Henry is a far more limited player doesn't excuse him

Post on wearetherangers showed before Fulham game Henry averaged 1.8 tackles a game and Faurlin 3.

And Faurlin makes 45 forward passes a game and Henry 25

They play the same position and Faurlin is better at both sides of the game

So we're playing two holding midfielders and one up front at home ? So basically we are a complete bag of negative dog **** the way we are being set up . ? I would rather we get in Morrison , ( I know a nutter but at least knows where the goal is )

Morrison fer Sandro Phillips (Sandro holding )
Charlie playing off jet up front . (Assuming all are fit and on their game )

Faulin , Henry and co just can't do the biz that much is clear , can't score and can't create ,

Bored now keep blowing smoke up faulins arse see where this midfield gets us .

Enjoy the rest of your weekends

Best of luck

A holding midfielder doesn't have to be a clogged like Henry and one up front doesn't have to be a defensive formation in the modern game. Our goals for and against columns suggest we aren't a defensive side.

You seem upbeat and happy with our stats and midfield performance (defence even worse )

Crack on

It ain't lies. He's said it many times before. Do Tories actually plant people in the Labour Party to destroy it from within?

Please find a quote where I've said that I am a life long member of the Labour Party.

So rich, considering that you as good as admitted that you're a Chelsea fan on the WUM on a different thread.
Why do you bother with such a long-winded wind up?

If you're aiming that at me show where I have ever said I'm a member or have been a member of any political party. You're very good at twisting facts to suit your own agenda...

Swords lies all the time to try to prove a point mate.
He virtually admitted to being a Chelsea fan on the WUM on another thread.
I can't believe he's still being tolerated on here as he's so obviously not a Ranger.

You said many times you were a lifelong Labour man, Sooper. You said you was Union rep too. But to be honest, its almost impossible to believe. Enoch Powell would've been a more credible Labour supporter

Being a Union Rep is one thing, I was for 20 years but I have never been a member of any political party. Not everyone can be pigeon-holed, especially by a half-wit WUM like you...

Just jumping in this Faurlin debate. I personally rated him but after 3 ACL injuries he will never be the player we first saw at QPR. His attitude is fantastic, his passing is good most of the time, he never really had any pace in the first place and he can read the game well. I honestly think he would be suited more in a 3 man central midfield and having henry next to him actually hinders his game. Realistically what is Henry going to do with the ball that others aren't capable of?
I still can't get over the fact we are playing with 2 defensive midfielders, neither with any pace, in front of a back 4. Luango for all his running doesn't really offer the support that Austin needs up top. I for one think it's about time we played 2 up. The counter argument to that is that we will get over run in midfield.......well we are anyway but and it's a big but, if we have players capable of retaining the ball in the centre of the park then this becomes less of an issue. Ramsay has to realise that our set up is flawed. Subbing Chery like he did showed me exactly that. Why buy a creative player to constantly track back?

Good points Bob. I really find it baffling that Ramsey continues with the same shape game after game when it is clearly not working and our performances and, as a result, confidence deteriorate. If we were playing flowing football and getting the odd defeat or draw you could accept it, but we've been served up some very poor performances and nothing appears to be changing...

Mourinho bought players like Oscar and Hazard and made them work back in a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3.
Also, Warnock's team played 2 defensive midfielders and that team was incredibly attacking.
