Brilliant news. A half fit Ale is better than some of the poor quality we saw last year, aka Maiga. Just need Matty Philips to declare he is fit n ready to tear down the flank. That's our starting midfield sorted. Things are looking on the up - just need to be rid of SWP
For everyone's sake, let's hope and pray we get the best out him again, on his day, a really top player that will serve well in the middle of the park.
A very good midfielder, fans favourite, seems to have a hooped heart and its great that our beloved club is not just a bunch of heartless money grabbers. Then again after two crucial knee operations is he still up to premier league level....? I have my doubts but would be thrilled if he does so good luck to alessandro.
Ale was the top rated midfield player for tackles for some time before his last injury, let's hope that he can replicate some of that form during the current season. If he can't I thank the club for giving him the opportunity.
