When I lived in the UK I used to love going to York. It was beautiful and manageable for short trips.

First Fathers Day without mine..... It's played on my mind all weekend... Odd really as me Dad hated it, so I never made a fuss. Me Mam moved out of the old house yesterday and its all done me in a bit. Changing times, still I VE got me piccalilli.

Visited, didn't actually stay there, mind you I take your point, so many people from outside the Hull area, and many within, say what a sh**hole Hull is but when you do see some other places you wonder what the heck they are on about. Have seen a wide variety of places since I've been doing this National Coach thing and as I have always suspected, Hull ain't all that bad. Came through Leytonstone not so long back, jeepers, I could mention many other places that shall we say were ..... scary.
