Was never happy when they reduced the pink snack(wafer) from 3 to 2 bars, think the Yank owners were to blame for that.

After watching the Wolves - Newcastle game last night I think they should stick with £14.95 for PPV ..... but they should be paying us.

I'd suggest if I was a chairman

£10 a month subscription fee for all premier league matches to begin with, that fee split respectively amongst clubs and the football ladder as it goes into a big pot.

All games played the entire season are saved and can be viewed by fans anytime. During the time when it season is off, histroic games are on there and fans can watch them.

Later Scottish clubs can be asked if they want to opt in and their clubs can be watched on there as well.

People would pay for that.

You'd essentially have a giant 1 place football hub for all games now and historic.

Just like you can watch your series' on Netflix.

You can click on each club, sort by season, and there you go, every single match right there.
Can see a few problems with that:
1. I don't think Sky would be too happy - you would still have to allow them their selection which wouldn't be available on PPV.
2. Crowds might dwindle (once they are allowed back) if you can get to watch all your clubs live games for 10quid a month
3. Would have to give a discount on the 10quid monthly fee if you have to watch Scottish games as well

Your proposal is effectively what I get overseas (except for about 5quid a month, AND I don't have to watch Scottish Football) but offering a similar structured deal for fans based in the UK would be the clubs cutting their own throats.

They ****ed him over for 300 million, so he's going after them
I dislike the man... But he has a point!

I think they have picked a fight with the wrong guy.

He is as stubborn as ****(as we all know), he won't let this go.

This isn't some foreign owner who understands pragmatism and compromise!

He is English, through and through. We hold the line, whatever the cost, till we succeed or fall.

It's a shame, he could have been a great owner if he had an ounce of empathy or integrity.

Ashley setting his attack dogs on you is a confirmed defeat.

The PL don't realise what they have unleashed.

Popcorn Time

Fat a nice a lovely guy, when we can attend games again we should invite him to sit with us in the crowd in a Newcastle shirt and buy us all a pint at half time. It'll be just like old times :emoticon-0115-inlov

I just find it very hypocritical.

If he was that bothered he would refund the season ticket money and stop collecting the DD.

Because that money goes to HIM.
He is publicly challenging EPL cash.
So yes, definitely hypocrotical.
He's not bothered about the fans, just in bringing the EPL into question.

Indeed that is right. Just seems odd again if he’s trying to get the PL to approve a takeover and then slag them off.

They would do some form of comparison. If they dropped the price to say £4.95 then they would need 3 times as many people to buy just to balance it up. I suspect that the balance should be somewhere in the middle.

Renember aswell that these additional matches generate additional commercial revenue streams.

Around £7-95 would seem reasonable. Same price as day the cinema.
