No. Early doors he was one of the few saving graces in a team and Club decimated by Ashley and Bruce’s incompetence. Under Steady Eddie he hasn’t sparkled so much primarily due to injury and illness. He is an absolute natural footballer who in his early part of his English career has suffered as a consequence of Bruce’s inadequacies as a manager and coach. He is an uncut diamond and I’ll give him time to learn and improve under Howe who from a tactical aspect seems to know what he’s doing. It may not work but he has the potential if he is coached properly and he is prepared to learn to be a top class PL player.
Better under Bruce? Why because Howe wants the other lads to be able to play and max can't play as a team? So you agree he isn't that good because he falls short in most areas of the game and you agree he's been playing badly.
