Understanding why Brighton were fine letting him leave. He was decent but nothing spectacular and was best in a back 5 with Webster and dunk alongside him.
People weren't as critical over ASM before he got injured and was ****ing carrying us you fickle two faced ****s!!!! He's our most prolific attacking player. Simple as. He's on bad form, it ****ing happens. Chill the **** out.

As you can see my responses were in relation to Max not Wood. I’m not having a go at Burn. I think he’s played really well and much better than expected but, as a matter of fact, the two goals have been as a result of his mistakes. Wood, I agree, is awful. I’ve seen worse such as Pingle but not many. He’s performed worse than I expected but he was always an attempt at a short term fix which isn’t working. The problem Howe has is who else is there? I don’t think we are playing to his strengths eg wingers hitting the by line and pulling the ball back but he should still be doing better eg weak headers when free with only the keeper to beat.
That's the really annoying thing, it was only 11 v 10 for 20 mins, just make sure of the point, keep them 9 points away, now it's 6 with 2 games in hand for them.
I agree. Just pointed out he did come on against someone in ****ter form than him who is 4 times his age, has a quarter of his pace and who'd been playing for an hour. Point being - he's not meant to score, could have skinned the living daylights out of Coleman time and time again whipped balls into the box till midnight and our striker would still be stood on the D.
Not many to return, but a few are carrying knocks, or been ill, or simply burnt out after 4 away games in under 2 weeks. Think they just need the break and a chance to recharge & hopefully be injury-free. Think Shelvey is only one who might return by Spurs. Maybe Fede too, but less likely.
Funnily enough, I actually think Shelvey would have made a difference tonight. I just we were ****ing safe so it doesn’t piss me off as much.
I have to say I don't think anyone played very well today other than Schar, targett, Bruno and imo almiron. The others were all below par, but I just feel like Everton wanted to win that more.. They won the 50/50s were less passive. It's all about next season and its a miracle we're in the position we are. They've got a good chance to stay up.. We've got a very tough run in, so we better get used to losing again
