If you want to discuss who did better overall that's when all the endless other cans of worms can come into play like who quit and who let who go etc.
Let's get back to the point raised shall we. Bruce did aswel as Rafa when looking at their full seasons in the Premier League. Both were crap overall.
Why would anyone raise that point? Bruce had **** all to do with the players that were signed, he was just obliged to play them.
No I didn't, I never said anything of the sort. I said Bruce's team was far more expensive and of much higher quality that Rafa's team, which finished higher in the league. I never said he signed better players, as he had nothing to do with the signings.
The other teams change every few months too. He did have something to do with signings though willock for example. All separate debates that don't alter the stats of the two seasons though.
The stats of 2 seasons where Rafa finished higher both times despite having a much weaker squad. And if we dare to look outside those 2 seasons for Bruce, there's the start of last season where he was losing every game in sight, sending the club hurting towards relegation, and the new owners were negotiating his sacking as part of the takeover.

How is finishing in the top 10 despite having to regularly play Joselu, Dummett, Hayden, Darlow, Gayle, Atsu and Yedlin "crap"?
Players rafa Brought to the club you mean ? With the exception of fan favourite Dummett. What about mitro and toney ? Did rafa not spot they were two top strikers... you have to wonder who else rafa could have had or whether they could keep the ball more If he could coach.
Players he bought for the club to be promoted from the championship, you were comparing premier league seasons. Rafa left when he was told he wouldn't get money to love the club forward in the Prem, and had to make do with what he could get spending £5m on a striker, ie Joselu. Whereas Bruce was given obvious quality like Wilson, Joelinton, Willock, ASM, Almirion etc, and finished lower than Rafa both times, before embarking on a kamikaze relegation mission the next season, by getting results so bad that Howe needed to work miracles to keep us up.

What about when he won La Liga twice with one of the weaker teams, won the Champions League and FA Cup with Liverpool, won the Italian cup with Inter and won the Europa with Chelsea despite all the fans being against him? And then got us immediately promoted and finished in the top 10 with an incredibly weak team? Are you seeing grouping Bruce alongside that? Bruce's managerial achievements are, what....getting Hull promoted before getting them relegated again?
So it's all about who's got the best players now? Did the other clubs sign players after rafa refused to stay?
