I'm also a numpty who saves £2 coins in a tin. It's one that you have to use a tin opener on so that the temptation to dip in is thwarted. The baked bean sized tins hold over £300, the last time I filled it the cash was turned into spendies in Vegas. The current can is bigger than the bean tin, probably the size of those really cheap dog food tins, and is approximately a third full. Hope to have enough spending cash for a trip to New York.

I don't like the new fivers, too slippery and I am convinced they keep slipping out of my pockets (no evidence to back this up though)

It might be £50 notes on the outside, I remember getting ones like that for the kids. Or it might have Coke bottles.....

What ever I earn gets spent. No credit card debt but a healthy mortgage which should be cleared in about 10 years. Taxes are PAYE too for this citizen.
