Do they ****. If he doesn't get you promoted this season he's gone. Anyone who thinks different is kidding themselves.
Unless they're already looking for his replacement in the back ground, if he's not been sacked before Tuesday's game I don't see a logical reason for him to be sacked before the weekend either. You can't say Cardiff away is a game that can decide a manager's position, how many teams even get a draw never mind a win down there? After the weekend there's the international break as well which would give them plenty of time to find a replacement.
I don't know, we did the double over Cardiff last season with consumate ease, so there's no reason why Leicester can't go down there and get something. The gap has been closed to three points; a win tonight for us, coupled with a win for Leicester on Tuesday and Watford have a very good chance of winning the league. Which means we can sit nicely in second. (Come on, we never, ever finish first, ever. EVER!!!) And Leicester can get pay back for Kermorgants **** up on a furious Cardiff who are stinging from being 10 points clear at the top to dropping into third place.
A point away at Cardiff would do and stop the rot. Backing Pearson to stay with us next season even if unsuccessful this season.
Give it a rest mate. Ten points is **** all in this league. Yep ten points is nothing. Ten points. Nothing.
Come on son, it's a bit of banter. Long way to go yet, admittedly, but you need to get something from tomorrow's game to have the slightest chance of catching us. IMO.
I don't do sucking up to Leicester, I know one or two of our posters get some stick for being a bit too complimentary about you lot but each to their own. Scarbs has got good reason to have a certain fondness for LCAFC and anyone having a dig at him is a bit clueless IMO. What I will say is this. I think I know enough about football to say that a good team, at times a very good team , doesn't become poor over night. I have said time and time again that all teams have dips in form and you're having one now. You'll come good again, mark my words. This season has a long, long way to go.
Oh I don't think we'll stay like this for the rest of the season. But you timed your off patch better than we did The strange thing is that nobody is in top form at the moment (aside from Forest). Everyone is giving everyone chances and nobody is taking them.
A mini run of 3 wins on the bounce could put a few teams in a really strong position. I just hope it's us Got to say fair play to Brucey tonight, he got the tactics spot on. Awful game to watch but it's the business end now. Points make prizes.
To be fair Carmine, you are one of the better Hull posters and I quite enjoy your input on this board. You have your opinions (Matty James ), but at least you give intelligent reasons and ask questions that can start a debate
I think it may be a crush that CG has - mind you after looking at Quinn last night, even Iain Dowie looks handsome. (PS - I am ot gingerist).
Are Forest really in top form? They've just beaten: Wolves - ten men Ipswich - nine men Sheff Wed Charlton - ten men Huddersfield They're some of the weaker teams in the league and they somehow managed to have four players sent off in those games, I'm not sure they're as on fire as they think they are.
You get 3 points regardless of who you beat. The overall quality between sides like Hull, Leicester, Forest etc. isnt that far apart
