Interesting that I created a post that everyone seems to agree with isn't it Weighty? How do I manage that? ****wit.
Tbh weighty it's getting about as predictable and tiresome as treacle's wumming used to be. If you have nothing better to worry about or anything original or witty to say then good luck to you
Much better than making up opinions with no information. And just because wit is in the word does not make '****wit' witty...........
As I said Weighty, you just keep trotting out the same old turd every week, if it makes you feel important or whatever, good luck to you
Do you have any basis for that comment Humpy or is it another guess.... Maybe at the end of your posts you should ask people that do not agree not to post as it will upset you and you can't handle it...
The worst game I have seen at Portman Road for quite some time! We were bereft of any real penetration and quality whilst Burnley just hoofed it at every opportunity. How they are top of the league is just beyond me! Hyam was poor and should have been taken off at half time with Tabb coming on in his place. Skuse was just a class above everybody else and was our MOM. He always had time on the ball and never wasted a pass all game. Anderson was ineffective and Murphy was just hopeless, He showed little desire and just ambled around the pitch all game. We were very poor but the same has to be said for the opposition who came for the draw but got lucky! In truth this game will not stay long in the memory. We lack pace throughout the side especially out wide and we resort too often to humping it up to the ineffectual Murphy and hoping for the bits and pieces. Mick is still the man to see us through but we really must up our game.
I would agree with this but also thought Berra & Smith had decent games, kept Ings & Vokes very quite, that has not happened to often this season. MM needs to stop using Nouble, he is pants & would agree he needs to think out side the box a bit more, would rather see us go down fighting than with the whimper that we did today, very lacklustre & bereft of ideas today.
I just don't get why some people are wanting Mick to take the ROI job! This really pisses me off! Yes there is considerable room for improvement but the fact remains that we are very much a work in progress and we are light years away from where we were before Mick came through the door! We have already had four changes of manager since Evans arrived so why do these idiots want a fifth manager in only Six years? Bad result today but we are not on he critical list by any means! Some people need a reality check when you consider that we only spent 20k on players this summer. Evans needs to sign some cheques pretty sharpish! You can't blame Mick when players like Hyam seem inacapable of passing a football to a team mate from a mere 5 yards! Rant over and Spanish take note! If you want to stick the boot in at least turn up to watch a few games during the season!
**** off Warky you thick twat, if you think im going to spend a couple of hundred pounds to watch an hour and a half of dross then you are more deluded than i thought!! Oh and as for saying you cant blame Mick, who picks the team etc, get real will ya, if someone is playing ****e you get ethem off and if you dont then you are to blame if you lose, correct or incorrect?
The funny thing is Warky, your beloved Mick doesn't even want to be here and you still wont hear a word against him, sucker!!
JWM i think we would all love it if MM's heart was in it but this season it's very clearly not. It's abundantly clear every time he opens his mouth. He felt his job was to keep us up. He has done that and he's comfortable staying for now, but as for ambitions of taking us upwards he clearly doesn't have any.
Warky You said we were poor yesterday, Mick said he was delighted with the performance, does that sound like someone who gives a toss?
We are Streets ahead of the team from this time last season...............so we lost by a goal to the league leaders in a game that could have gone either way. We are not a team that will win every week with free flowing beautiful football. I don't rate Nouble his reactions to things around him always seem to be two seconds to late but that said i also don't claim to know how ready Marriot or Lee are to be coming on. We have not been Tonked at all this season apart from maybe the second half at Derby and the football i have seen in the games i have watched has been on the whole entertaining which is a darn sight more than what i said after watching some games under Jewell and Keane. I would love us to play like Real Madrid and have that degree of player but its not realistic so at the moment as long as we can compete and not get embarressed regularly like early last season i see it as progess. I apologise if by sticking to my opinions and not changing my views week in week out in a knee jerk way that my posts are predictable but i won't apologise for supporting the Super Blues.
LMAO Keep backing your darling Mick whilst wearing those rose tinted glasses, its only a matter of time until he does the dirty on you. Come on Warky answer this, you thought we were gash yesterday but Mick was delighted, FFS!!! Weighty, not a knee jerk as have never rated MM, hardly changing my mind, actually am sticking by my thoughts, average manager with limited ability, just gets teams organised and hard to beat. As i said when he became our manager, he will keep us up but we will end up mid table boring side.......
Come on Warky, answer a question for once in your life, you may struggle and you may have to find fault in lover boy but give it a go, go on i dare ya!!
Spanish, I think your being a tad harsh on MM. Taking aside his refusal to count himself out of the ROI job he is doing the best he can IMO. Lets not forget he had zero money to do any deals with this summer & again IMO we are 2-3 players short of being a play off contending side this season, as much as I was frustrated with what happened yesterday with time to reflect I am not sure MM has a hand strong enough to take to many risks during a game, also we had to use our sub keeper yesterday.! Burnley were well organised yesterday, they came for a point and got lucky.!
