The way they are playing is poor got to pass it about on the floor thier invisbile owner and clegg the old moaner together with Jewell should be shown the door come on Hamps cheer up L1 football is great fun!
Oh how they laughed when we fell from grace, They were taking the piss all over the place. Waving wads of cash and chanting with glee, As League One football beckoned City. But the winds of change have blown North and South, And that Binner in blue has now shut his mouth. Should the season end with The Town going down, I for one will not fret nor will frown. We've lived in their shadow for many a year, So let's all rejoice at their imminent nightmare. The 'Old Farm' derby we can do without, Perhaps the odd cup-tie which we'd win no doubt. OTBC ... Un-****ing-believable, have some of us stooped so low as to be posting this kind of **** on the Budgie boards? FFS! As a Blue who virtually grew up on the old North Stand, followed us home, away, across Europe, I wish to absolutely, unequivocally, distance myself from the sentiments shown in the OP... FFS...
You know what I'm on about, KIO, however badly you lot were doing, I cannot believe that one of your lot would post anything like the OP on our board... It simply beggers belief!
the binners will like League 1 and they get there following a terrible run they will sack Jewell which is terribly cruel as we luv him hes given us so much fun
Poor old welly blue will soon have to find his way to Crewe when 1p5wich go down the supporters of town humble pie will have to chew
bit of an over reaction from yorkie... ...can't really say its unusual for him to over react either! they've played five games. lets see where they are in another five games time. 10 games normally gives a more realistic look to how teams will do over the course of a season. having said that, i did think they'd struggle this season, though no more than in recent seasons. they are perennial strugglers - they probably don't see it that way but they are part of the championship furniture. they aren't a big club, they don't have much money, they can't pay big wages, they aren't a big draw for players, they have a weak squad and it was always likely that they'd be bottom half again. it would be a massive surprise to see them anywhere near the top 6. i've not seen any championship matches yet this season so can't say who the better or weaker sides are but i'd imagine there will be three worse teams than ipswich, though if they get many injuries they will certainly be in the mix.
Give it two months and he'll be on here proclaiming Ipswich will be play-off dead certs! Clearly you have to be bipolar to support the binners!
You say they aren't a big draw for players, I was astounded when Bullard and Bowyer agreed terms, I bet the fans now all wish your words were more accurate!
Must admit welly it did seem to me A strange request there at the time, Especially from your lord and leader Hampy But as you know, I love to rhyme So what could I do when offered such a chance To expand on your dodgy start, But go right ahead, with no backward glance And not upset the applecart I hope for you true blues it did come across As intended, in such a way, As an outside view of your chief and your boss With no reference to your play.
Welly, I can honestly say That to me it's a sad, sad day When one of your own Can denigrate Town In this particular way Nor do I sympathise With Canary triumphalist cries At Ipswich Town's plight And I wait for a sight Of your club once again on the rise. For you are no different from us As you climb on the train or the bus Supporting your team With a similar dream Through times with more minus than plus Keep the faith and look forward again To bright sunshine replacing the rain When the good times return And the Tractor Boys earn The success for which you so yearn. Oops, that last line went a bit astray rhymewise!
